OUR TOURS

We specialize in small and friendly tours in luxury vehicles or mini buses. We provide a comfortable and exciting way to explore the glorious scenery, fascinating history and wonderful heritage of this great country, with a focus on your individual ancestry and the places they come from. With us, you’ll see all the famous sights, but you’ll also discover hidden corners and experience the real Scotland and the warm hospitality of its people. Our hope is that you have a chance to walk in the footsteps of your ancestors. We have a wide range of tour itineraries and durations, so there is something for everyone.

The duration of our tours are 5, 7, or 10 days and primarily begin in Edinburgh or Glasgow. The base cost for our 5 day tour is $5,200 pp based on a 2 person minimum. Each tour is unique and therefore costs vary depending on itinerary, length of stay and number of guests traveling in your group.  Contact us to organize your tour.

5 Day Tours

Our 5 day tour gives you a chance to explore your Scottish heritage and visit some of the areas they lived.  We’ll typically include stops at some of the key historic sites and villages and let you experience the wonderful culture of this country.  Although this is our base tour we really do try and pack in a lot, but we will customize it to fit your needs.  This a great way to see Scotland even if you have only a short time to visit or want to include our tour as part of a longer overall vacation.

7 Day Tours

Our 7 day tour allows you to explore more of Scotland and dive a little deeper into your ancestry and history.  We typically spend some time in Edinburgh, Stirling, or Glasgow and then venture a little farther on this tour.  We can usually include a visit up into the Highlands and visit places like Culloden, Loch Ness, Eileen Donnan Castle and even the Isle of Skye.  Or if you’re more interested in spending time along the Scottish Boarders then we could include Melrose Abbey, where the heart of King Robert the Bruce is buried, or venture to the west coast and see Culzean Castle and the wonderful area around Ayrshire, Galloway, or Dumfries.  Since this is a customized tour, we can cater it to what you’d like and we’ll make suggestions as we form the outline of your tour.

10+ Day Tours

Our 10+ day tour allows you to see the most of Scotland and really embrace the areas that your ancestors lived. Most of these tours include a visit to one of the remote islands or spending multiple days in a few select regions of the country.  The pace tends to be a little easier and allows for more time to stay and soak up the atmosphere and culture that is unique to your ancestral home or venture off on an excursion to hike in a highland glen.  We can visit Viking villages and megalithic sites that will help you understand more about the earliest societies that later formed the clans and instilled courage, valor, and pride into their decedents.  The best part of all is that this tour is customized to fit with what you like to do.
